One semester abroad
After graduating with a degree in International Business from Maryville College in May 2013, I decided to move to Minneapolis-St Paul, because I'm a fan of the Twin Cities area and know that it's a place that I want to be.
Educational Background
I chose to complete an undergraduate degree in International Business because I have a passion for language, culture, geography, and ultimately, it is my intention to work for a multinational firm or do something related to travel or transportation.
However, I'm equally interested in technology, which is something that I begin to study on my own time. In the last year of college I began to study web development and internet marketing, and discovered that I have a strong technical aptitude. I believe that business goals can be greatly aided by innovative use of technology, and I hope to be able to continue to pursue these passions in my future career.
Experience
Over the course of my college career, I've cultivated a variety of interesting and diverse experiences that have made me a well-rounded individual. I have three years of overall customer service experience and have held numerous positions interacting with the public both on my college campus and in the community.
